Shichimi, is a common Japanese spice mixture and it is more and more popular chefs all over the world.

It is hand-crafted by the Shichimiya-Honpon company, which is specialized in shichimi for 360 years. It is located near the Kyomizu temple.
Using only the best Japanese spices and keeping the same manufacturing process handed down from generation to generation, it is a high quality product.
Although using the same spice base as the kuroi shichimi from Harayoukaku society, the preparation does not contain the same proportions and is therefore totally different.
Difficult to say which one is the best, both are authentic.
