INFORMATION ABOUT DELIVERY

I. GENERALITY

All orders are sent from KYOTO in Japan by Japan Post and EMS (customer choose when buying, before payment).

Shipping costs depend on the weight of your order delivery method and destination
We can deliver anywhere in the world.

All orders are usually prepared within 24 to 48 hours after your purchase by us, except Saturday, Sunday and holidays (Japanese calendar) A shipping confirmation email will then be sent.

II. TRANSPORT OF PACKAGES

Packages supported by Japan Post and delivered by post to your country. Japan Post offers three different rates:

Japan post SAL :

Price lowest first having 2kg limit and total size can not exceed 90 centimeters.
This is the most economical method of airmail but also the slowest.

It takes about 2 weeks of delivery depending on the geographical area or 1 month in case of custom clearance

It's possible to take an additional option for tracking your package and insurance (6000 yen maximum value)

Caution : during busy times like Christmas, delivery may take longer (3 to 4 weeks). Moreover, customs controls may delay delivery.

AIRMAIL price :

With the Japan Air post delivery is faster, about 8 to 12 days, with tracking of the package. It is possible to add an insurance option ( 6000 yen maximum value)

EMS Price:

Express delivery, usually 4 to 5 days when EMS send it ( means 6 to 8 days ). The package is insured up to 20,000 Yen (about 150 euros at current rate of 135 yen to 1 euro).

it is the fastest and safest method from Japan.

III. DELIVERY DELAYS AND PROBLEMS

We ship all orders as quickly as possible but once the packages have left the delivery times depend only on the post office and customs.

If you have chosen a delivery with a tracking number you can track your package online at any time with this number.

If you choose shipping without track number it is impossible to know at what stage of transportation is the package once it has been shipped. The transport times announced by the postal services are of maximum 3 weeks but some packets may arrive later because of a clearing customs or delay.

If you do not receive your package a refund is possible only if you have taken the option of shipping with insurance. The amount is limited to the maximum value of the insurance taken out.

No food products or products with expiry dates can be taken back or exchanged due to delays of shipping.

For other products it is possible to make a return or an exchange if you ask us. In this case you will still have to pay the shipping costs as well as the handling fee.

IV. CUSTOMS FEES

Fees vary depending on the destination country. Taxes are calculated based on the total price of the package contents + postage, to which can be added fees.
Generally for shipments in Europe customs fees are rarely charged on amounts less than 150 euros.
