Amazake is a traditional sweet drink made from rice that has been drunk by Japanese people since the Nara period (710-794 AD).

It is a traditional Japanese beverage made using fermentation like yoghurt, natto, miso and so on.
Fermented foods contain essential substances such as vitamins, glucose and essential amino acids for humans. (It is said to be the drinking yoghurt of the Japanese version)

Amazake contains "water, salt, sugar" in a well-balanced manner and is also called drip infusion.
In the Edo period, it was popular as a nutritious drink of common people's ally.

Long time ago, among the samurai of the Edo period, it seems that drinking Amazake before drinking sake was said to be "a manner of samurai" thanks to the efficacy of "prevention of drunkenness".

Morinaga & Co., released bottled Amazake in 1969 then, canned in 1974.

PRODUCT INFORMATION:

How to drink deliciously

1. Please boil the water in the pot.

2. Please stop the heating when it boils. then put down the can of Amazake which is unopened can.

(It is also fine with plenty of hot water to warm up the cans standing inside of the pot as well.)

3. Place it for about 10 minutes, touch the surface of the can and it will be completed if it gets hot enough.


※ The surface of the can becomes hot. Please handle with care.

Heat with a microwave

Transfer the Amazake into a container. then put it in a microwave and heat it in a microwave.

[Estimated heating time]

500 W: 60 seconds
600 W: 50 seconds

※ Depending on the model of the microwave oven, warming time will be around.

※ Don't have to use the food wrap on the Amazake.

It is delicious even if it's chilled (cold Amazake)

When you want to refresh after showering, while summer, etc.,

Rafraichissant

La texture est assez épaisse, ça surprend la première fois. Mais j'aime bien car ce n'est pas trop sucré, c'est rafraichissant
